Essential Educational Qualification Age limitConsolidated emoluments
1. Graduate in Nursing with minimum 55% marks from a recognized University/College.
2. Registration with State Nursing Council.
Maximum 35 years as on the date of Walk-in-Interview (Age relaxation as per rules)₹ 30,000/- per month. No House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be paid to the Young Professionals.

SCOPE OF WORK / JOB PROFILE
Provide direct patient care, administer medications, monitor vital signs, assist in procedures, maintain medical records, educate patients, and ensure adherence to infection control and hospital protocols.

📌 Procedure for Engagement – ICMR-RMRIMS YP-I Recruitment 2025

  1. Date & Time of Walk-In Interview:
  • 16th September, 2025 (Tuesday) from 10:30 AM onwards
  • Candidates must report at Reception Counter, Ground Floor, SATDRC Building, ICMR-RMRIMS, Agamkuan, Patna by 10:00 AM.
  • Note: Candidates reporting after 10:00 AM will not be allowed to participate.
  1. Application Submission:
  • Candidates must bring duly filled offline applications in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-I).
  • Application should be accompanied with self-certified copies of all educational qualifications, experience certificates (if any), and recent passport-size photograph.
  • Original documents must be produced for verification before the interview.
  • Applications through email or any other mode will not be accepted.
  1. Eligibility Verification:
  • Only candidates fulfilling the age limit, qualification and experience criteria will be allowed to attend the Walk-in-Interview.

  1. Selection Process:

📌 General Terms & Conditions – ICMR-RMRIMS YP-I Recruitment 2025

  1. Period of Engagement:
  • Initial engagement of Young Professional-I will be for 01 year, extendable/curtailed as per requirement and performance evaluation.
  • Maximum duration of engagement in ICMR = 03 years (1+1+1) only.
  1. Tax Deduction:
  • Income Tax or any other applicable tax will be deducted at source as per prevailing rules.
  1. TA/DA for Official Tours:
  • Travel allowance: AC-3 Tier / AC Chair Car
  • Daily allowance: ₹1200/- per day for accommodation, food & local conveyance.
  1. Working Hours & Attendance:
  • Office hours: 09:30 AM – 06:00 PM (may extend if required).
  • No extra benefit for working beyond office hours.
  • 08 days continuous unauthorized absence = automatic termination.
  1. Leave Entitlement:
  • 08 days leave per calendar year (pro-rata basis).
  • 02 restricted holidays as per Govt./ICMR rules.
  • Compensatory leave: Max 02/month, can accumulate up to 05 days, to be availed within 3 months.
  • Maternity leave as per Maternity Benefit (Amendment) Act, 2017.
  • No paternity leave for male YPs.
  1. Intellectual Property Rights (IPR):
  • Any IPR generated during service at ICMR-RMRIMS will be governed by ICMR guidelines.
  1. Sexual Harassment Policy:
  • Compliance with PoSH Act, 2013 (Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace) is mandatory.
  1. Tax Deduction (Re-stated):
  • All applicable taxes will be deducted at source as per Govt. rules.
  1. Legal Status:
  • Engagement is purely contractual & temporary.
  • No claim for permanent employment or continuation beyond contract.
  • Selected candidates must sign an undertaking before joining.
  1. Discipline & Decorum:
    • Must follow institutional rules and norms.
    • Violation = breach of contract and may lead to termination.
  2. Insurance:
    • Candidate is responsible for personal life/health/accident insurance during engagement.
  3. Settlement of Disputes:
    • Both parties must attempt to resolve disputes amicably.
  4. Conflict of Interest:
    • YPs must maintain honesty, secrecy, sincerity in duties.
    • Any conflict of interest or unsatisfactory service = termination without notice.
    • Undertaking to this effect must be signed before joining.
  5. Audits & Investigation:
    • Payments are subject to internal/external audit.
    • Candidate must cooperate with any investigation/audit related to the contract.
  6. Medical Clearance & Service Risks:
    • Candidates must submit a Medical Fitness Certificate before joining.
    • In case of death, injury, or illness during official duty, no compensation will be given by ICMR-RMRIMS.
  7. Force Majeure:
    • Natural calamities, war, invasion, revolution, civil unrest, etc., beyond control, will be treated as force majeure.
    • Delays due to harsh field conditions/civil unrest do not qualify as force majeure.
  8. Interpretation:
    • Any doubt regarding interpretation of rules will be decided by DG-ICMR, whose decision will be final.
  9. Power to Relax:
    • DG-ICMR may relax any of the provisions, if deemed necessary, with written reasons.

📌 Important Instructions – ICMR-RMRIMS YP-I Recruitment 2025

a) Applications not submitted in the prescribed format, or without photograph and signature, shall be summarily rejected.

b) Submission of false or incorrect information at any stage will lead to disqualification.

c) Selected candidates must submit self-attested copies of proof of age, educational qualifications, experience, and testimonials at the time of joining.

d) Mere possession of essential qualification/experience does not guarantee shortlisting or selection.

e) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or for joining the post. Candidates must make their own arrangements for stay.

f) Candidates already in regular service under Central/State Govt./Autonomous Bodies/Departments/PSU are not eligible to apply.

g) Benefits like Provident Fund, LTC, Medical claim, CCA etc. shall not be available to selected candidates.

h) Selected Young Professionals must comply with the laws of secrecy and sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement before joining.

i) The engagement will not constitute a regular job or appointment of any nature in ICMR.

j) During the engagement, the Young Professional must comply with standards of conduct. Failure may lead to termination without notice.

k) The contract is purely temporary and can be terminated at any time without prior notice or assigning any reason. Normally, one month’s notice from either side is expected.

l) The Director, ICMR-RMRIMS, Patna, reserves the right to cancel the advertisement at any stage. His decision will be final and binding.

m) Canvassing or bringing outside influence in any form will result in disqualification and debarment from the selection process.
