The notification for appointment of Group B & C positions in Border Security Force will be available for download on the official website of BSF Recruitment Cell at https://rectt.bsf.gov.in/ on May 18, 2024. By downloading it, candidates will be able to check and verify their eligibility criteria, important dates, selection process and other details.

BSF Group B & C Eligibility Criteria 2024:
Eligibility criteria for Group B and C posts under the BSF in terms of educational qualification and age limit is available below.
SI (Staff Nurse):
Educational Qualification: Candidates need to have completed General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from a recognized institution.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 30 years old as of January 1, 2024.
ASI (Lab Technician):
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess a Lab Technician Diploma from a recognized institution.
Age Limit: Applicants should be between 18 to 30 years old as of January 1, 2024.
ASI (Physiotherapist):
Educational Qualification: Candidates should hold a Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
Age Limit: Applicants should be between 18 to 30 years old as of January 1, 2024.
Constable (OTRP), Constable (SKT), Constable (Fitter), Constable (Carpenter), Constable (Auto Elect), Constable (Veh Mech), Constable (BSTS), Constable (Upholster), SI (Vehicle Mechanic):
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed ITI in the respective trade or have three years of relevant experience.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 25 years old.
Head Constable (Veterinary):
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed 12th grade with Biology or Veterinary Livestock Development Assistant (VLDA) qualification.
Age Limit: Applicants should be between 18 to 25 years old.
Constable (Kennelman):
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed 10th grade and have a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
Age Limit: Applicants should be between 18 to 25 years old.
Inspector (Librarian):
Educational Qualification: Candidates should hold a degree in Library Science from a recognized institution.
Age Limit: Candidates should be up to 30 years old as of January 1, 2024.
