UPUMS Nursing Officer Syllabus 2024:

Scheme of Examination:-

The duration of the Test shall be 03 hrs. (180 minutes).

200 MCQs of 600 marks with four alternatives for each question (English & Hindi both languages).

• - 170 MCQsrelated to Nursing subjects.
• - 30 MCQs related to General English, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Reasoning & Mathematics)

There will be no negative marking for wrong answer.

Minimum qualifying marks of the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be :-

• - 40% for General, EWS, OBC
• - 35% for SC & ST

Syllabus :-

The syllabus will be in accordance with INC syllabus, educational qualification and experience as mentioned in the Eligibility Section.

(Each question carries 03 marks)

Resolution of Tie Cases:-

In cases where more than one candidate secure equal score, tie will be resolved,

1. First by using date of birth with older candidates placed higher.
2. If not resolved by (1), by number of wrong answers will beused wherein those with less wrong answers will be placed higher.
3. If not resolved by (1) and (2), over all % of marks in Degree/Diploma Courses will be considered.
4. If not resolved by (1), (2) and (3), earlier course completion date will be considered.
5. Merit will be reflected accordingly in CBT Score.
