• BSc Nursing/ Post BSc Nursing for a recognized board and university 
• Applicant candidate must be registered for the Nursing and Midwifery Council and OTHER state NURSING council.

UP NHM CHO Selection Process

The candidates will be shortlisted based on the merit and percentage of total marks obtained in High School, Intermediate along with theory and practical of all years of B.Sc. (Nursing) /Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) Examination and COVID Experience weightage (85 marks for obtained in High School, Intermediate, all Years of Integrated CCHN B.Sc. Nursing/PB B.Sc. Nursing and 15 marks for Covid experience).

Weightage of Marks for Merit (Out of 85):-

• For 10th: 17%
• For 12th: 17%
• For aggregate of integrated CCHN B.Sc. /PB B.Sc. Nursing: 51%

NHM UP CHO Age Limit

• Minimum Age Limit: 21 years
• Maximum Age Limit: 40 years

UP NHM CHO Educational Qualification

B.Sc. in Nursing or Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institute or University.

 Integrated CCHN B.Sc. Nursing/PB B.Sc. Nursing Candidate must be registered in UP Nurses & Midwives Council, but candidates having registration in other State Nursing Council as Nurse and Midwife are also eligible to apply.

Nationality

All candidates taking part in the UP NHM CHO process must be Indian citizens.

 

DOCUMENT VERIFICATION PROCESS:

Information regarding the Date, Time, and Venue regarding DVP will be communicated to candidate on their registered email/Mobile Number. No request for change of DVP date will be entertained in this regard. Candidates will be invited for DVP in the ratio of 1:10 against the total vacancies.

During the DVP, candidate will have to produce all the relevant original and one sets of self attested photocopies of all the documents and 02 photos. If candidate fails in producing relevant original documents at the time of DVP, his/her candidature shall stand cancelled.

• Mark sheet of High School.
• Mark sheet of Intermediate.
• All mark sheet of BSc (Nursing)/ PB BSc Nursing.
• Certificate from Principal of concerned Institution regarding Integration of Middle Level Health Provider (MLHP)/CCHN Course in Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) and PB B.Sc. Nursing (should be as prescribedin Annexure-II).
• Certificate issued by the concerned University regarding Integration of Middle Level Health Provider(MLHP)/CCHN Course in Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) and PB B.Sc. Nursing.
• QR Based COVID experience Certificate issued by concerned district. QR based COVID Experience certificate issued on prescribed proforma as per Annexure-III only shall be treated valid.
• Valid Category Certificate.
• Valid photo ID and address proof.
• UP Nurses & Midwives Council Registration Certificate/Other State Nursing Council registration certificate.
• Domicile certificate.
• PwD, Dependent of freedom fighters and ex-servicemen certificate.

UP NHM CHO Cut-Off 2024

The cut-off for the UP NHM CHO will be released shortly after the exams are conducted. The cut-off list varies every year depending on the difficulty level of the exam, the total number of appearing candidates, reservation criteria, etc. The cut-off list for the UP NHM CHO will be made available on the official website of the exam conducting body. Meanwhile, you can check the minimum qualifying marks for the UP NHM CHO exam shared below: 

Note: Candidate engaged for COVID Management as outsourced/temporary HR/contractual and worked at Public Health facilities and/or worked for Management of Covid through administration under Department of Medical Health and Medical Education in Uttar Pradesh on fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria after obtaining minimum qualifying marks in CBT will be given additional percentage marks as per follows:-

• 05 Marks – who completed six months (cumulative) of active engagement.
• 10 Marks – who completed One year (cumulative) of active engagement.
• 15 Marks – who completed One year and six months (cumulative) of active engagement.
