RUHS M.SC NURSING ADMISSION FORM 2023 START, APPLICATION FEE, IMPORTANT DATES,ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION

Centralized admissions to various Government and Government self-financed and private colleges affiliated to Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur, for the session 2023-24 shall be made by the RUHS in the following course:

1. Master of Nursing (M.Sc Nursing)                                               (2 years duration) 



IMPORTANT DATES / SCHEDULE

  • Start date for filling of on-line application form at website :- 03.10.2023
  • Last date for depositing the application fees :-11.10.2023 (11.55 pm)
  • Last date for submitting the on-line application form at website :- 12.10.2023 (11.55 pm)
  • Last date for submitting printout of the on-line application form, duly completed (with all relevant documents) (only through Proper Channel) at RUHS Jaipur by in-service candidates only :-18.10.2023 (4.00 pm)
  • Printing of admit card :- To be announced later
  • Entrance examination (computer based) To be announced later Printout of the on-line application form (along with fee payment proof and all relevant documents) :- To be submitted at the time of joining 

APPLICATION FEE

All candidates are required to deposit non-refundable application fee of Rs. 3600/- (Rs. 1800 for

SC, ST, ST-STA category of Rajasthan state) using the procedure mentioned in the on-line

application form (plus service charges, as applicable).

The application fee is not refundable, not transferable or not adjustable for any future RCA

Nursing. Any request in this matter shall not be entertained.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION

All residents of India fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned below can apply to Rajasthan University of Health Sciences for RCA Nursing 2023 for admission to M.Sc Nursing course in different government colleges, government self-financed colleges and private colleges affiliated to Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur (State Government Medical University), on the basis of instructions given in this information booklet, the relevant rules of RUHS, Jaipur and directions of State Govt. / Honorable Court.

For admission to M.Sc Nursing courses in colleges affiliated to RUHS, it is mandatory to appear in the M.Sc Nursing Entrance Examination 2023 [Rajasthan Centralized Admissions to Nursing Courses 2023, (RCA Nursing 2023)].

1. Criteria

Non-service candidates

I. The candidate must have passed B.Sc. Nursing (Basic/T&R)/B.Sc. Nursing (Hons)/PostBasic B.Sc. Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from Rajasthan University of Health Sciences/ other recognized University.

II. The candidate should be registered nurse and registered midwife or equivalent with their respective state Nursing Registration Council.

III. The institution from where, the candidate has pursued Baccalaureate nursing programme must be recognized by Indian Nursing Council.

IV. Minimum one year of work experience after passing B.Sc. Nursing / prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing till the last date of submission of on-line application form to RUHS, Jaipur.

(Note: one year of work experience shall be calculated after registration at respective state nursing council) 

In-service candidates (only for Rajasthan State Government / Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur employee)

In addition to the eligibility criteria prescribed for non-service candidates, in-service candidate must also fulfill the eligibility criteria as below:

I. The candidate should be in-service of State Government of Rajasthan / Rajasthan University of Health Sciences

II. The candidate should have completed at least two years of continuous service after regular appointment by State Government of Rajasthan / RUHS. The candidate would be required to submit a certificate (Appendix A) to the above effect duly signed by the Competent Authority. In case the candidate is an employee of RUHS, the candidate would be required to submit a certificate to the above effect duly signed by the Registrar, RUHS, Jaipur. 

2. Age limit

There is no age limit for admission to M.Sc. Nursing course. 

FEE STRUCTURE

The candidates are required to pay the prescribed fee for the course.

Govt College of Nursing Jaipur – Fees as may be prescribed by the Government.

Govt Self financed Nursing Colleges –

First year – INR 90000 (boys general and OBC); 

Girls, boys SC, boys ST INR 36000

Second year – INR 110000 (boys general and OBC); 

Girls, boys SC, boys ST INR 44000

Private Nursing Colleges – 1,35,000 per year

ADMISISON PROCEDURE
The admissions shall be made strictly in accordance with merit list prepared on the basis of
score of the admission test and the order of choices / options filled in by the candidates in the
on-line application form. The candidates are advised to exercise their choices / options very
carefully.
For the entrance test, separate instructions / guidelines will be provided to the candidates
through newspapers / website etc. RUHS reserves the right to decide about mode of admission.
The decision of RUHS/Nursing Counseling Board shall be final and binding to all. Candidates
are advised to secure information regarding the admission from the website of RUHS
(www.ruhsraj.org).
Important to note: If at any stage, it is found that a non-eligible candidate is admitted to a
course, then the admission of such a candidate will be cancelled on such detection. A penal
action may also be initiated against such candidate.
Allotment of college and course
The allotment of college and course shall be made by strictly following the order of merit, seats
available in each college and the priority of choice/option of the college and the course filled in
by the candidate in the on-line application form.
Candidates securing equal score in the admission test will be admitted in the following order of
preference:
1. One who has passed B.Sc Nursing examination in less number of attempts.
2. The candidate of higher age (older candidate).
3. One who has obtained higher total marks in Senior Secondary examination (10+2) or its
equivalent examination.
After allotment of college and course, candidates will be informed about their allotment at
RUHS website. Candidate is required to take a printout of the allotment letter / information and
join at the allotted college with this printout alongwith requisite documents, in original, and
prescribed fee, by the notified date.
The non-viewing of the RUHS website about allotment information by the candidate shall not
be accepted as a ground for not submitting the option form or non-joining at the allotted college
on the scheduled time and date. The candidate's allotment will stand automatically cancelled if
he/she does not join IN PERSON to the allotted college as per notified schedule.
Joining at allotted college and depositing of fees & other documents
At the time of joining at the allotted college, the candidate will have to carry printout of the
allotment letter. The candidate is required to deposit the prescribed fee along with original and
one set of attested photocopies of requisite documents.
The colleges shall be provided the list of candidates allotted. The colleges shall verify the
credentials of the candidates as per this list and check the documents and other required
certificates with originals.
